Women’s Wisdom Project

The Women’s Wisdom project interviewed women who live, work, or have visited Tompkins County, about their advice and wisdom. More than 70 women participated. A multi media film/reading based on the interviews and survey was performed to sold out audiences in the fall of 2016 at Cinemapolis and screened at the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in 2018. Putting Her Back Into History, a video installation of 44 interviews and copies of the online survey was installed at the Tompkins County Public Library for Women’s History Month in March 2017.

This is an ongoing project. To sign up for our mailing list contact us.
